Ski site expands into Switzerland and Italy
An online platform for skiers to find and book qualified independent instructors has expanded its service to resorts in Switzerland and Italy.
Maison Sport launched last winter in France, but claims to have seen a 2000% increase in pre-season bookings this year.
Lessons can be booked in several Swiss and Italian resorts including Verbier, Zermatt, Davos and Sauze d’Oulx.
The website, which allows users to choose their instructor based on real customer reviews, claims to offer average savings of 15% .~

Co-founder Nick Robinson said: "We received fantastic feedback from customers who used our platform to book ski or snowboard lessons in France last season, with many seasoned skiers and snowboarders telling us this is just the type of service the industry needs.
"We are delighted therefore to be able to extend our offering into Switzerland and Italy to help more customers book quality lessons at a great price.

"Whilst some ski and snowboard schools offer online booking, our service takes lesson booking to a new level of personalisation as we allow customers to select their instructor based on the reviews previous clients have left, their experience and skill-set as well as the languages in which they can teach."
