SKI: Top resorts with snow-sure nursery slopes

Friday, 13 Feb, 2013 0

If you’re searching for a ski holiday for a novice, you’ll need to find a resort with snow-sure nursery slopes, preferably ones that are easy to reach so they won’t have to trek far in boots they’re not yet comfortable with and lugging skis or boards. This is especially the case for those with young children.

This can be tricky because nursery slopes are often the lowest, which means they’re prone to slush, especially late in the season. Gentler slopes higher up the mountain are often harder to reach, and might involve a ride on a chair-lift or crowded gondola.

So where should they go? Fortunately, snow guru Fraser Wilkin has done all the leg-work for you and found the top 10 ultra snow-sure but high quality resort level nursery slopes. Click here to find out where he recommends.
