Skyscanner seeks temporary CEO…
Skyscanner is recruiting for a new CEO to take over the company – just for one day.
To mark reaching 40 million users a month, the travel search company is giving its founder and CEO Gareth Williams the chance to take a ‘well-earned break’.
Instead, it is inviting candidates to apply for his role and run the global company for one day only, and will pay them £2,500 for their work.
The temporary CEO will tour the Edinburgh head office, meet the various teams and will be expected to cover a range of key duties.
Skyscanner says these will include:
– Providing insight into Skyscanner’s flights, hotels and car hire products
– Testing changes to the site and apps
– Being interviewed by media
– Reviewing the company strategy
– Drawing weird doodles.
The job is open to anyone who is eligible to work in the UK, regardless of experience, but they must have a passion for travel.
To apply, candidates need to click here and sell themselves in 100 words.
The deadline for applications is 24 August.
