Small gains for travel shares

There were some positive performances among travel and tourism shares yesterday as London’s equity markets enjoyed mixed fortunes.

The FTSE 100 index added 9.3 points to end the day at 4742.4, while the FTSE 250 dropped 28.7 points to close at 6569.6.
