Smelly developments
No roses perhaps but you can stop now start to smell the lemons at Omni Hotels.
The chain says lemongrass, mixed with some green tea, will become the official scent of the 41-hotel chain.
The Omni chain became the latest one to add scent to its hotel lobbies.
Previously, InterContinental’s Indigo brand added various scents into its hotels.
Said Omni’s Stephen Rosenstock in USA Today:
“When you walk into a hotel, you focus on the visual, and then the sense of touch, things like a thread count. But with (the right) scent and sound, it just adds so much more.”
