Snafu produces boarding passes with wrong names and flight numbers
Sometimes, it’s a good idea to have it on paper.
Travelers who had their US Airways boarding passes sent to their cell phones found that to be true yesterday, when a glitch in the system produced passes with the wrong names or flight numbers.
The airline said Wednesday afternoon that the problem affected travelers who used the US Airways mobile site or app, which rolled out this summer.
It was fixed after about three hours.
