Solomon Airlines adds OTA integration for hotel bookings
Solomon Airlines has agreed a partnership with online travel giant Booking.com, allowing customers to book Solomon Islands accommodation directly through the flysolomons.com website.
The integration enables the airline’s passengers to concurrently book accommodation at 14 Solomon Islands properties currently signed up with Booking.com, with more added soon, the airline said.
Booking.com listed properties in the Solomons range from five star resorts, boutique hotels, eco lodges and holiday apartments with just over half located in Honiara.
"This marks a very important step forward for Solomon Airlines and one that further propels both the airline and the destination on the international travel scene," said the carrier’s general manager operations and commercial, Gus Kraus.
Solomon Airlines currently operates domestic services and international flights from Honiara to Brisbane, Sydney, Fiji and Vanuatu.
