Southall Travel signs cricket sponsorship deal
Southall Travel has signed to become a sponsor of the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2017, which is being held in England and Wales.
It means the agency’s brand will appear on Sky Sports during the cricket tournament.
The group said the move follows the success of its recent sponsorship of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Sky Sports and its English Premier League football advertising campaign earlier this year.
The ICC Champions Trophy starts on June 1 and will see the top eight teams in the ODI rankings such as England, India, Australia and New Zealand battle it out over 18 days.
The Southall Travel sponsorship ‘idents’ will appear on all Sky Sports live broadcasts of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, including all repeat and highlight shows, across all Sky Sports platforms such as Sky Go and SkySports.com.
Southall sales director Jaymin Borkhatria said: "This is another significant investment and once again, we are delighted to be associated with Sky Sports on what we are sure will be a fantastic tournament and a huge hit amongst cricket fans around the country.
"We are confident this will have a positive impact on our brand and introduce our business and our products to a new audience."
