Southampton Airport sees January growth
Passenger numbers at Southampton Airport rose by more than nine per cent in January.
The increase saw the airport handle 109,322 passengers last month, a 9.4% increase year-on-year.
This gave an annual total of 1.85 million passengers using the Hampshire airport.
New routes confirmed for this year include Angers, Avignon, Faro, Palma, Cherbourg and Chambery by Flybe, the Isle of Man by Eastern Airways and additional capacity by Air France on its three times a day service to Paris.
