Spain added as new ski destination by luxury operator
Carrier has included the largely undiscovered Baqueira-Beret in the Spanish Pyrenees as well as New England to its portfolio for 2016.
Its re-designed Luxury Ski & Snow 2015/16 brochure, produced in collaboration with Harper’s Bazaar for a luxurious, fashionable look, also includes Hotel Jerome with non-stop flights to Aspen via Chicago with American Airlines.
The upmarket operator anticipates a surge in demand for Jackson Hole and Whistler as they celebrate their 50th anniversaries. Hotels are expected to introduce new developments and tours to celebrate the occasion.
In New England, The Pitcher Inn, Vermont has been transformed from a lodging house to a quirky boutique residence with the Sugarbush resort only five minutes away.
For short haul trips, Scandinavian-styled Le Yule will open its doors for the first time in December 2015 in Val d’Isère, whilst in Austria, Raffl’s Tyrol Hotel is the new sequel to Raffl’s St Antoner Hof in St Anton.
The programme also includes nearly 50 chalets, including 10 chalets in North America for the first time.
