SpiceJet signs codeshare agreement with Emirates
India’s SpiceJet has inked a new codeshare pact with Gulf carrier Emirates.
It significantly expands through ticketing options for SpiceJet customers from India to Africa, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.
European destinations in the codeshare agreement include London, Paris, Frankfurt, Manchester and Amsterdam.
Also included with connections via Dubai are flights to New York, Washington DC, Toronto, and Sao Paulo, as well as regional flights to Jeddah, Kuwait and Amman.
Emirates customers can connect with SpiceJet operated flights to Goa, Hubli, Guwahati, Vishakhapatnam and Tuticorin from Emirates’ nine gateway cities in India.
"This partnership with SpiceJet and the mutual expansion of our network will go a long way in further enhancing the travel experience of our customers in India," said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ divisional SVP, strategic planning, revenue optimization and aeropolitical affairs.
