Spirit Airlines adding five new Cancun routes
Spirit Airlines is doubling down on Cancun with a slew of new routes beginning next year.
In time for Spring Break season Spirit is adding five new routes starting in February and March 2020.
From February, services from Cleveland and Austin will operate four times a week, while the Pittsburgh and Nashville routes will run three times weekly.
On March 1, 2020, Spirit launches the daily Philadelphia-Cancun route.
"Spirit Airlines is pleased to expand our popular Cancun service," said airline VP John Kirby.
The route expansion into Cancun will take its average daily service to eight flights a day.
Spirit already serves Cancun from Fort Lauderdale, Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, Dallas and Houston.
