Sports brand Reebok offering adventure travel packages
Sportswear brand Reebok is venturing into the travel business, partnering with Austin Adventures to offer a series of fitness related adventure packages.
Reebok Fitness Vacations will launch with a six-day trip to Montana in July.
Other planned itineraries for 2014 include Utah and Costa Rica.
Activities include forest trail running, whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, hot spring spa treatments and yoga.
Rates start at $2,498 per person and are commissionable.
The move into travel is a natural progression for the brand, according to Reebok head of licensing Linne Kimball.
"We are always looking for new ways to engage fitness enthusiasts and to create opportunities to make fitness an integral part of their lifestyle," Kimball said.
Established in 1974, Billings, Montana based Austin Adventures offers small group guided adventure trips throughout the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe.
