Stagecoach shares take the high road
Travel and tourism shares experienced mainly small falls yesterday as London’s equity markets fell.
The FTSE 100 index dropped 24.8 points to close at 4703.9, while the FTSE 250 fell back 3.9 points to end the day at 6657.6.
The best performer was Stagecoach, which added 13.75p to end the day at 114p after releasing positive first-half results.
