Starwood opens Four Points in Havana
Starwood Hotels and Resorts has opened the first of three properties it is planning in Cuba’s capital, Havana.
The Four Points Havana is in the Miramar financial district of the city and is the first US hotel to open in Cuba since the revolution in 1959.
Brian McGuinness, senior vice president of specialty select brands for Starwood, said: "The opening of Four Points Havana marks a monumental moment for not only the Four Points brand, but for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, solidifying its innovative, first-mover spirit."
The Four Points Havana has 186 guest rooms, 1,000 square feet of meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center, and a spa. Wi-Fi will be available throughout the hotel.
