Staunton lands Travelport global accounts role
Brian Staunton, previously Worldspan UK and Ireland regional manager, has been promoted following the takeover by Galileo owner Travelport GDS.
He becomes commercial director, global accounts reporting to Sandra McLeod, who was recently named on a worldwide basis as vice-president global accounts and corporate strategic development
During his time at Worldspan he led the GDS’s Irish business before being promoted to regional manager for the UK & Ireland in early 2006.
Based in Travelport GDS’s global HQ in Langley, Staunton will manage one of Travelport’s global customers with a team of direct reports based in EMEA, North America and Asia Pacific.
