Stella gains new Tassie resort.
Stella Hospitality Group has consolidated its position as a leading operator of branded hotels in Australia with the addition of a new waterfront resort overlooking the Tamar Valley in northern Tasmania.
The group announced today the launch of York Cove Tamar Valley as a Peppers property, lifting Stella’s presence in the Island State to four including Peppers Seaport Hotel in Launceston, Peppers Calstock in Deloraine and Mantra One Sandy Bay Road, Hobart.
Featuring a selection of luxurious hotel rooms and premium apartments with ensuites, spas and designer kitchens, Peppers York Cove Tamar Valley sets a new standard for holiday experiences in historic George Town, 30 minutes from Launceston.
Stella Hospitality Group Chief Executive Officer Bob East said Peppers York Cove Tamar Valley was an exciting addition to the group’s portfolio.
“Peppers York Cove Tamar Valley fits perfectly into our expanding collection of uniquely local experiences in the most extraordinary destinations throughout Australia and New Zealand,’’ he said.
“It embodies the Peppers’ philosophy of casual sophistication in a dream location at the mouth of the picturesque Tamar River, an area which offers a tantalising blend of history and natural experiences.’’
Guest facilities include heated pool and spa, fully equipped gymnasium, restaurant and bar, securely positioned marina with short and long term berthing facilities and conferencing facilities for up to 55 delegates.
Peppers York Cove Tamar Valley provides an ideal base for scenic cruising along Australia’s longest navigable river or off-shore sailing in Bass Strait. The surrounding area is renowned for its cool climate wines, fresh local produce, breathtaking natural scenery and unique old-world charm.
