Stena Line sign partner for Dutch breaks

Wednesday, 02 Dec, 2002 0

Stena Line Holidays has teamed up with short break operator, Travelscene to offer inclusive breaks to Holland from the UK.

Stena Line has recently recorded a 19 percent increase in passengers travelling between Harwich, in East Anglia, and the Hook of Holland. The inclusive holidays will feature in a brochure called Holiday Holland. The companies will work specifically with agents in East Anglia, the key catchment area.

Travelscene was a good fit for Stena Line because the operator offers a range of short breaks in Holland, and sells a number of ferry-based holiday programmes.

Stena Line general manager for the Harwich to Hook route, Lars Olsson, said Stena Line had been looking for a partner in the Dutch market for some time.

Stena Line Holidays Ireland will continue to be operated exclusively by Stena Line.
