Still good skiing to be had
Despite a lack of recent snowfall, there is still great skiing on offer across much of the Alps currently. The off-piste across many regions has become tracked, although the pistes generally remain in excellent condition. South facing slopes are beginning to soften up in the afternoon, so be sure to stick to the runs of the upper mountain to make the most of the current conditions. Unsettled weather during the middle of the week could see the possibility of some light snow flurries, although totals will be very moderate, if any falls at all.
Across the 3 Valleys and Espace Killy regions, there is good skiing to be had at altitude, where the low temperatures have kept the snow in excellent condition. Virtually all lifts are running in the region, with a large amount of skiable terrain on offer to skiers currently.
The Pyrenees is in excellent condition currently after some good snowfall over the course of the weekend, particularly across resorts in France. Plenty more looks likely to be on the way so expect conditions to only further improve in the region over the comings days.
Spring-like conditions are present across much of Scandinavia currently after a recent spell of sunny weather and warm temperatures. This is likely to be the theme over much of the week ahead.
Good conditions are available across many resorts across Eastern Europe. The best skiing can currently be found across the upper mountains, where the slightly lower temperatures have kept the snow in good condition.
Good skiing is currently available throughout much of Canada thanks to good recent snowfalls. The persistently low temperatures have ensured that the new snow has stayed in excellent condition, with fantastic skiing being reported across many of our featured resorts.
Plenty of good skiing is available across much of the USA, with California offering some of the best conditions in the Northern Hemisphere currently. Plenty more snow is in the forecast, with conditions across many regions expected to improve accordingly.
