Strike action called by cabin crew
A series of 48-hour walk-outs by Air New Zealand long haul cabin crew is unlikely to affect UK flights, the airline has said.
The strikes, which follow the collapse of talks in Auckland, have been set for July 18, 21 and 24.
Although between 15 and 20 international flights are expected to be cancelled, the carrier said all direct services between New Zealand, Los Angeles and London are scheduled to operate as normal although “there will be some slight changes to the arrival and departure times.”
A full list of the cancelled flights can be found at www.airnewzealand.co.uk.
