Strike to cause disruption to flights to and from Italy
A strike by workers at two Italian airports has forced airlines to cancel services tomorrow.
The eight-hour walkout by ground handlers at Bologna and Venice airports will start at 10:00 on Wednesday.
Ryanair has cancelled 11 flights from Bologna tomorrow, including one to Manchester, and diverted four flights to Bologna to Bergamo, from where passengers will be transferred to Bologna by coach.
EasyJet has cancelled four flights to Bologna and plans to divert four flights to Verona, from where it will also lay on coaches.
