Mauritius-based Sun Resorts has appointed a new vice president sales and marketing to support the group’s expansion in international markets.

Alexandre Hulen has worked with several other hotel groups including Eton Collection, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Le Meridien and Anantara Resort & Spa.

In 2010 he took the position of cluster director of sales and marketing, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives, before joining the Regent Group in Bali as director of sales and marketing.

Before joining the Sun Resorts team, Hulen was director of sales and marketing for One & Only Royal Mirage in Dubai.

"We are very pleased that Alexandre is joining us to support the expansion of Sun Resorts in the international level," said David Anderson, CEO of Sun Limited.

"His leadership and extensive experience in the hospitality industry will be vital qualities for Sun Resorts."
