Sunlover Holidays rewards top agents
Sumlover Holidays recently celebrated the achievements of their top-performing travel agents this month in the magnificent Whitsundays.
115 of Australia and New Zealand’s leading travel agents, descended on the Whitsundays from May 4 to May 7 as a reward for their outstanding sales throughout 2005.
The seventh annual STARS (Sunlover Travel Agents Reward Scheme) event saw 15 agents receive awards during a Night with the Gods black tie dinner on Daydream Island
Sunlover Holidays Group General Manager Sales & Marketing Hugh Houston said the three day festivities were the perfect way to reward their high achievers.
“This event marked the culmination of a very successful 2005, all these agents showed exceptional growth so it was important to acknowledge their success by spending two nights on Daydream Island followed by a night on Hayman,” he said.
“STARS is an opportunity to encourage interaction amongst leading agents who have generated profitable product sales for the state and to experience the best that Queensland has to offer.”
The weekend culminated a 1920’s Mafia Mania dinner on Hayman which took agents back to the days of prohibition, with feather boas, illegal gambling, moonshine and the odd mafia gangster.
The three-days of festivities also included a stop at Whitehaven Beach and a seaplane/helicopter ride.
Mr Houston said the success of the high achievers had been excellent given the challenges facing the domestic travel market during 2005.
“Sunlover Holidays is looking forward to another successful year ahead and we will continue to do everything in our power to make booking a Sunlover Holiday as easy as possible for travel agents.’’
