Sunlover Stars sparkle at Gala Awards
Sunlover Holidays has honoured its top-performing travel agents with a gala ball in Tropical North Queensland, with Australia and New Zealand ’s top travel agents, representing 110 agencies, descending on Port Douglas and Dunk Island at the weekend as a reward for their outstanding performances selling Queensland product over the past 12 months.
The annual STARS (Sunlover Travel Agents Reward Scheme) event saw the high achievers recognised at a black tie awards night at the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas.
Spending one night in Port Douglas and two nights on Dunk Island , the leading agents saw the sights and celebrated their successes with activities ranging from a Quicksilver Cruise to the Outer Reef, a massive Get Funked on Dunk beach party and a Carnivale Spectacular on the final evening.
General Manager of Sales and Marketing for AOT Holidays, Hugh Houston, said the event marked the culmination of a challenging but very successful year.
“The support we have had from all agents and in particular our top agents has been fantastic and this STARS event in Port Douglas and on Dunk Island was a great way of demonstrating our gratitude for their hard work.”
“These are the best of the best and we thank them for their terrific support,’’ he said.
