Sunsail appoints new GM

Sunsail has appointed sailing veteran Scott Farquharson to the role of general manager, based in Surbiton, Surrey.

He was previously North American director of Dream Yacht business and has worked in the British Virgin Islands and the Caribbean.

Simon Cross, president of Sunsail parent TUI Marine said: "We are thrilled that Scott has decided to join us at Sunsail. His depth of knowledge and his commitment to delivering fantastic yacht charter experiences is a great addition to the Sunsail team".

Farquharson added: "I am delighted to be given the opportunity of working with such a dedicated team of professionals. Honestly, this is the job I have always wanted, and I am looking forward to all of the challenges ahead. Together we will ensure that Sunsail continues to move forward and builds from its position as the premier charter holiday provider".
