Suntransfers to target trade after poaching Holiday Taxis’ sales director
Airport transfer company Suntransfers has poached Holiday Taxis’ director of UK sales Andy Baker to spearhead its break into the business-to-business arena.
Baker will join Suntransfers as global partnerships director.
The company, which was founded in Barcelona in 2008, claims to be one of the largest direct-sell airport transfer companies in Europe.
"With an enviable customer service rating and Trustpilot score, Suntransfers.com now plan to repeat this success and provide the same quality product at market leading rates to the
trade," it said in a statement.
Baker, who has previously worked at bed banks Hotels4U/Medhotels and Youtravel, will take up his new role in November, reporting to Suntransfers’ MD Nathan Timmins.
Timmins said: "His appointment will be the first of many as we look to expand products and services to help us widen our distribution chain. We’ve got a number of developments planned over the coming months which will enable us to be best placed to become the leading independent supplier to the trade."
