Super Nintendo World grand opening set for this month
The world’s first SUPER NINTENDO WORLD will be unveiled in full at its grand opening in a week’s time.
Universal Studios Japan welcome the new land featuring Nintendo’s worlds, characters and adventures. It allows guests to play inside their favourite Nintendo games.
The grand opening kicks off the park’s year-long 20th Anniversary Celebration.
It is the first multi-level themed land at Universal Studios Japan.
It includes Peach’s Castle and Bowser’s Castle, as well as Mario Kart- and Yoshi-themed rides and attractions, plus restaurants, shops and other experiences.
It offers a more interactive experience than most theme parks with the purchase of a Power-Up Band.
This can be synced to a smartphones to play and collect virtual coins. Guests can track their score and compete with other park guests.
Universal Studios Japan is located in Osaka and wholly owned by Comcast NBCUniversal.
As well as the new attraction Universal Studios Japan is home to experiences such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, The Flying Dinosaur and Minion Park.
