Superbreak managing director Eamonn Ferrin is leaving the business "to pursue other interests in travel".

The announcement came as Peter Kerkar, chief executive of Superbreak’s parent Holidaybreak Limited, announced that Superbreak in the UK and the sister business, Bookit, in Holland and Belgium, will be working more closely together to "maximise synergies and opportunities".

He said for the immediate future, Karel Vos, current MD of Bookit, will become acting MD of the entire Hotel Breaks Division, including Superbreak.

In a statement, Kerkar said: "I am sorry to announce that Eamonn Ferrin has decided to leave the business, and I would like to thank Eamonn for his hard work and commitment to Superbreak over the past three years."
