SuperBreak offers rail-inclusive packages

Wednesday, 16 Jul, 2014 0

SuperBreak is offering rail-inclusive packages with guaranteed seats at no extra cost for the first time, saving agents the hassle of booking train tickets as an add-on.

Like the operator’s Eurostar and flight-inclusive packages, the new rail system packages hotel and rail options together as part of the main booking process.

Agents can select the hotel plus rail option on the website, select a departure date, departure station and approximate departure and return train times.

SuperBreak will then recommend packages showing the lowest fare rail options and its recommended hotels based on value for money or special offers.

National sales manager Graham Balmforth said: "This makes things so much clearer and convenient for agents.

"Previously rail tickets were added as an add-on at the end of a booking but now they are an integral part of the process.

"Agents can find the cheapest routes for customers, show them clearly how prices change depending on when they travel during the day and then confirm their seats and times so everything is booked and sorted.

"This system follows the same template as our Eurostar and flight-inclusive packages and we believe we are the first travel company to offer flexible flight, Eurostar and UK rail packages on one system."
