Support for single travellers
Beyond Travel has introduced products across Russia, Eastern Europe and Croatia with substantially lower single supplements.
Beyond Travel’s marketing manager Bryce Crampton said the company is working with overseas partners to secure better deals for single travellers to reflect "changing trends in the way Australians travel, within the solo market".
He said that the solo market had changed in recent years as Australian passengers "steer away from traditional European holiday destinations and become more adventurous with the destinations they are choosing to visit".
"However, solo travellers are often deterred by the extremely high single supplements that accompany most tour packages," he said.
Beyond has reduced single supplements on a selection of its first class European river cruise, small ship Croatian cruises and fully escorted tours in Croatia, Eastern Europe and Russia.
