Survey stresses importance of meeting venue

Friday, 19 Jun, 2006 0

How important is a venue in the success of a meeting? More than you may have thought.

ARAMARK Harrison Lodging found in a survey that 73% of respondents felt the actual training facility/conference center was “very important” in contributing to the overall success of a meeting.

“A great training environment adds to the experience, but a poor training environment can ruin the best training program,” said one respondent.

Said Jeff Weggerman, ARAMARK’s vice president of sales and marketing:

“These responses clearly substantiate our strong belief that venue and conference facilities play a critical role in the perceived outcome or success of meetings and training sessions.
