Taking wine lovers to new heights
The 2011 Hua Hin Ballooning Festival, created and developed by the Rest Detail Hotel Hua Hin and Stafford Edison International’s Classic Events, has been scheduled from February 12 to March 6.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Siam Winery Company’s Hua Hin Hills Vineyard support the event.
Flights float off just after sunrise from the Hua Hin Hills Vineyard for a one hour flight before guests return for a champagne and jazz breakfast.
Each flight carries five passengers plus a pilot.
The Hua Hin Hills Vineyard – 140 to 210 meters above sea level – is built on a former elephant corral. It covers some 600 acres with 160 acres under vines, including varieties of colombard, chenin blanc, muscat, shiraz, sangiovese and tempranillo.
Bookings can be made through the Rest Detail Hotel website on www.restdetailhotel.com.
