Tallinn gets its first Hyatt property
Hyatt Hotels Corporation celebrated in August the opening of Hyatt Place Tallinn, marking its brand debut not only in Estonia but also in the Baltic States.
It is a significant move in Hyatt strategic expansion across Europe told Michel Morauw, Managing Director, North, EAME for Hyatt. “The opening of Hyatt Place Tallinn marks an exciting milestone as we introduce the Hyatt brand to the Baltic States for the first time,” he said.
Located in the heart of Tallinn’s harbor district, Hyatt Place Tallinn is remarkably accessible for ferry travelers arriving from Helsinki and Stockholm. Guests are only a short walk from Tallinn’s UNESCO-listed Old Town neighborhood, known for its cobblestone streets, vibrant cafés, and medieval charm.
Perfect gateway to town
Surrounded by modern business hubs, cultural venues, and seaside promenades, Hyatt Place Tallinn connects guests to both the city’s commercial and historic centers.
Within walking distance, guests can explore the Rotermanni Quarter, renowned for contemporary dining and boutique shopping. They also access Telliskivi Creative City, which offers a vibrant blend of art, design, and cultural experiences. Around the corner is Kultuurikatel. This distinctive venue regularly hosts leading tech conferences and events related to creative industries.

Guestrooms with a Scandinavian touch
Hyatt Place Tallinn’s 169 spacious and thoughtfully designed guestrooms blend modern Scandinavian-inspired design with sleek décor. It combines clean-lined, modern furnishings to create a warm and stylish retreat for every guest.
The hotel’s color palette draws from Tallinn’s Nordic light and coastal charm. It creates a sense of calm and clarity, ideal for both business and leisure travelers. With flexible social spaces and rooms to balance work and relaxation, the hotel meets the needs of today’s multifaceted travelers. Rooms have walk-in showers and a Cozy Corner to relax or work.

Locally grown but globally inspired cuisine
The hotel’s dining experiences bring the best of local flavor, re-imagined with inspiration from around the world. Restaurant Zoom blends contemporary design with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Created by Executive Chef Alexander Kaiser, menus celebrates high-quality, seasonal ingredients, catering to both international tastes and local culinary traditions.
For moments of social connection, the hotel’s bar, 6 Cocktails, will open before year-end. It will become a popular venue as it offers sweeping views of the city and harbor.
