Tauck offers both land and sea upscale tours
Tauck’s land and sea cruises are proving popular.
The company known for its land tours operates a Tauck At Sea program that includes land and cruise or riverboat tours.
Prices include meals on and off the ship, private shore excursions, access to on-board destination experts, transportation and hotel accommodations on shore, and port charges.
The upscale tours utilize ships of all sizes on both ocean-going and river cruises.
A typical tour is the 15-day Chilean Fjords trip. Passengers travel along the Chilean coast aboard le Diamant, a ship holding only 190 passengers build to explore less-traveled waterways.
Passengers have an open bar on the ship. Gratuities for the ship’s crew and Tauck’s tour directors are all included in the upfront price. Lecturers are available to discuss the area’s history, geology and wildlife.
