Taxi fare, $100 discounts among Big Apple hotel offerings
In tough times, hotels are getting creative. Two recent examples include the Affinia Manhattan and the Buckingham Hotel in Manhattan. For example:
Guests who book a room at the Affinia after 10 p.m. receive $100 off the standard, available rate for the same-day, for one-night stays. This package is valid through March 31 and is subject to availability.
The Buckingham Hotel in Manhattan offers guests who book a room after a cancelled or delayed flight from NYC’s airports, including JFK and LaGuardia, taxi fare to the hotel. The offer is good for up to $50 for taking the current available room rates.
Buckingham Hotel rates start at $199. The promotion promotion is valid for a one-night stay through March 31 (subject to availability).
Plane tickets and taxi receipts are needed verification for booking. This discount is valid for customers with flight delays of more than 4 hours and is not applicable for current reservations.
