TDS offers a peek at ARENA
MELBOURNE – Travel Distribution Systems has launched the first stage of it’s ARENA distribution system, which allows travel and tourism suppliers to load content into the system’s database.
Norman Collins, CEO of TDS, said the reservation side of the system would be released on February 16, completing a long development phase of an advanced distribution system for industry use only.
TDS said it was confident that with the launch of the ARENA system, both suppliers and retailers would benefit through reduced operational costs and more effective distribution during tough economic times and beyond.
“It has been the focus of our company to support the industry with creative systems and assist in maintaining industry outlets as the major distribution channels for all travel and tourism services,” said Collins.
TDS has gained strong local and global support for the system since accepting registrations for system access from industry members.
A demonstration of the first phase of the system will be available at the company’s website www.tdsworld.com together with registration applications.
