A British teacher is presumed dead after going missing in the sea after he and his friend were hit by a wave while on a Club 18-30 holiday.
Ethan McKen, 24, from Nottingham had just arrived at the Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach, in Bulgaria, with five friends when he was swept out to sea.
A spokesman from Club 18-30, which is owned by Thomas Cook, said that the Foreign and Commonwealth Office had today confirmed the death of a British national is Bulgaria.
Out of respect for the family, it said it was unable to share any specific details until a formal identification process had been completed.
