A flight to Dubai from the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka was forced to make an emergency landing after a man allegedly tried to storm the cockpit, according to local media.
The Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ Boeing 737, carrying 142 passengers, was surrounded by security forces when it landed at Shah Amanat International Airport in the Bangladeshi coastal city of Chittagong.
However, reports suggested that all passengers disembarked safely from flight BG147.
AFP news agency reports quoted security forces saying a man in his mid-20s had been arrested in connection with the incident.
