Texas travel warning
Travellers to Texas are being warned of tornadoes and flash floods as Tropical Storm Bill hits the Gulf coastline today.
The UK Foreign Office said high winds, heavy rain, storm surges and flash flooding is expected.
"Sporadic tornadoes are possible. Listen to weather reports and follow the advice of local authorities," it added.
Areas likely to be affected include Houston and eastern Texas and southwestern Louisiana.
