Thai AirAsia Starts Bangkok/Langkawi Flights
Low cost carrier Thai AirAsia will launch a three times a week Bangkok/Langkawi flight service from Saturday, January 6.
The jet service to the company’s 10th international destination will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and Tassapon Bijleveld, Chief Executive Officer, Thai AirAsia said that the three times weekly service could well become a daily operation by mid year depending upon consumer response.
Langkawi will be Thai AirAisa’s fourth destination in Malaysia after Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Kota Kinabalu.
The carrier which operates a fleet of 11 aircraft also flies to Singapore, Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Yangon, Xiamen and Macau.
Domestically, the carrier serves Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Karabi, Narathiwat, Phuket, Surat Thani, Ubon Ratchani and Udon Thani.
