Thai Airways delays London A380 launch due to technical issues
Thai Airways has delayed the launch of its A380 flights from London to Bangkok "due to important technical modifications".
The service was due to start on December 1, but the launch date has now been "tentatively" set for October 30 2014.
Until then, Thai Airways will continue to use its B747 on the route.
The airline has confirmed the technical changes need to be made to the wing tips, but did not go into specific detail.
At the moment Thai has received four of its six A380s and is using the aircraft on flights to and from Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, Tokyo and Frankfurt.
Sydney and London are the destinations in waiting.
