Thailand and The Mole – A Royal get together

Sunday, 09 Feb, 2006 0

The Tourism Authority of Thailand and TravelMole have announced a very special tourism partnership that will extend through this Royal celebratory year of the 60th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty the King of Thailand to the throne.

The Director of The Tourism Authority of Thailand in Sydney, Sugree Sithivanich said, “We are delighted to partner with TravelMole to promote this celebration as they are a recognised leader in on line media globally and through TravelMole we can tell more travel industry people about our wonderful country.

He added, “Events taking place nationwide in Thailand throughout the year include the fabulous Royal Barge procession, Royal Procession and Trooping of the Colours and special activities will include Jazz festivals, because his Majesty is also a great lover of Jazz”.   “All of Thailand’s many national and cultural events will also take on a royal flavour, with everything being done in the same colourful style and flair.”

“Australia, New Zealand and Thailand have always enjoyed very strong tourism ties and we know that the opportunity to visit Thailand during our 60th Anniversary Royal celebrations taking place this year will attract even more Australians and New Zealanders to visit Thailand.”

“TravelMole will also be contacting all our travel industry partners in Australia, New Zealand and Thailand seeking their support and letting them know about how they can take part in the TravelMole Royal Thailand initiative.”

John Alwyn-Jones, Chairman and Co-Editor of TravelMole said, “it is really great that The Tourism Authority of Thailand and TravelMole will be working together to promote what sounds like an amazing Royal celebration and everything else Thailand has to offer, to the travel trade in Australia and New Zealand.”

“The TravelMole Royal Thailand promotions we have planned over the coming twelve months will offer operators to Thailand unique opportunities to promote their Thailand products to the travel trade and of course, generate significantly greater and highly valuable business.”

“We look forward very much to working with The Tourism Authority of Thailand and the operators who sell Thailand in Australia and New Zealand and while we anticipate being in touch with them, they should also contact Graham Muldoon or myself for more details.”
