Thailand has welcomed two million foreign visitors in 2022
Thailand has welcomed over two million foreign tourist arrivals so far in 2022. Deputy government spokeswoman Traisuree Traisoranakul said it reached2.03 million through June 26.
Most Covid-related entry restrictions have been eased including the mask mandate.
The country is targeting 7-10 million foreign tourist arrivals this year. Thailand welcomed about 40 million arrivals before the pandemic.
It received another boost after Thai airlines were granted permission to resume flights on two China routes.
