Amidst a line-up of some of the world’s most prestigious hotels, The Como Melbourne has been singled out and ‘honoured’ as the only hotel in Australia to be named in the ‘Luxury Hotel Category’ of the TripAdvisor 2006 Traveller’s Choice Awards.

The only ‘honours’ that represent the unbiased opinions of millions of real travellers, worldwide, TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards are quickly becoming among the most coveted awards in the travel industry.

Other hotel categories include; Best Luxury, Best Hidden Gem, Best Bargain, Best Inns & B&B’s, Best for Families and Best Pool. The ‘honoured’ hotels were chosen by millions of “real travellers” on the TripAdvisor.com website, the world’s largest travel community.

The Como Melbourne, a 107-all suite hotel in Melbourne’s South Yarra has long been the hotel of choice for some of the most discerning travellers and is a perennial favourite amongst the entertainment, sporting, fashion and arts communities.

Commenting on the recent award, Hotel Manager Sarah Henderson said, “we are delighted to be recognised by our most important critics, our guests, as a top luxury hotel and be aligned with the best in the world”.
