The Cruise Globe lays out ambitions to become no 1 cruise app
Just 10 months since it launched, The Cruise Globe is targeting half a million users by the end of next year.
It calls itself the world’s first free-to-use digital platform that enables travellers to accurately map out their entire cruise history,
The cruise app has gained over 100,000 users so far with more than half a million cruises logged.
Users are spread across more than 110 countries, with the majority coming from the US, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Most are now logging their entire cruise history, with more than 500 users having each logged more than 50 cruises in total.
Matthew Jones, co-founder said: “To have reached the milestone of 100,000 users in just 10 months is fantastic news and shows just how much demand there is for a free-to-use platform.”
“Based on feedback and the enthusiasm of the cruise community, we are confident that we can achieve 500,000 users by the end of 2026.”
Recent enhancements to The Cruise Globe include the ability to add upcoming cruises with a countdown to the departure, plan excursions and view a predicted route based on all past tracking data.
Next year, there are plans to make The Cruise Globe a social app allowing users to not only see their own cruise history but also see the cruise history of their friends.
Eventually, it aims to become the go-to app for all cruisers offering finding, booking and planning a cruise through to live tracking, reviewing and sharing experiences.
