The Irish are crazy!
In what could be desribed as the most innovative travel promotion campaign in Australia, Tourism Ireland’s Mister P’s nationwide tour kicked off recently in Sydney today, with the campaign to promote Irish Holidays fronted by the notorious Irish Spud, Mister P.
He has been spotted posing jacketless, one might say, in the buff and completely unpeeled for RAW, on Bondi Beach, with Mister P quoted saying: “I had hoped my seedy past wouldn’t be exposed in Australia, this photo shoot was meant to be kept top secret.”
He went on to say, “visitors to Ireland would in fact see Irish Spuds naked all the time, it’s a natural thing.”
He was later recently spotted cooling down with a Screaming Spudtini at Icebergs, a well known celebrity hangout, commenting that the Irish were into all sorts of mouth-watering gourmet grub, plus, there are plenty of foodie festivals to tantalise the taste buds.
He added: “The media interest in this campaign has been unbelievable.” “It’s great to see the Australian public has got a taste for me!”
