The Senegal Experience launches New 2009/2010 Brochure

The UK’s leading specialist to Senegal launches its new November 2009 – October 2010 brochure offering a wide range of holidays and an expanded programme which includes: the addition of the beach resort of La Somone, 3 new hotels plus new 3 and 7-night tours enabling further exploration of areas north of Dakar as well as the Sine Saloum Delta, East Senegal and neighbouring country, The Gambia. A choice of UK departures is offered with scheduled flights to Dakar from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester airports. To mark the launch, The Senegal Experience is offering great savings on winter holidays booked before 17th July.

BROCHURE HIGHLIGHTS:

12 hotels feature in the Sine Saloum Delta, Saly and, new for 2009/2010, La Somone
12 properties feature, providing a variety of accommodation options including unique waterfront lodges, enchanting tree houses and 5* luxury Spa hotels, all of which are set in prime locations on the beach or along the river in the resort areas of Saly, the Sine Saloum Delta and, new for 2009/2010, the resort of La Somone.

New Hotels
La Somone: 4-grade Royal Decameron Baobab Resort
Operating on an all-inclusive board basis, this newly refurbished hotel is perfectly positioned between a sandy beach and the La Somone lagoon and is rich in facilities and activities associated with the Decameron brand.
Saly: 4-grade Hotel Neptune
Hotel Neptune offers a relaxed, tranquil atmosphere and excellent cuisine. Pétanque and badminton can be played, and canoes and surfboards are freely available for guests’ use on the hotel’s private beach.
Sine Saloum Delta: 4-grade Delta Niominka
Delta Niominka is uniquely located on the island of Dionewar, just a short boat ride from the mainland at the mouth of the Sine Saloum Delta, itself an area of natural beauty with a contrast of landscapes from sand beaches to the rivers and bolongs of the Delta.

New 3 or 7-night private tours can be booked as part of a longer beach / resort holiday. A discount of £100pp on 7-night tours and £50pp on 3-night tours is valid for departures 01 Nov – 16 Dec 2009.

Twice weekly scheduled flights are offered from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester.

Senegal & The Gambia Twin-Centre Holidays
Twin-centre holidays within Senegal or combined with The Gambia are offered. Through sister company, The Gambia Experience, charter flights into Banjul are also available.

Half Board Holidays from £849
7-night holidays start from £849pp (half-board) at the Hotel Royam inclusive of flights.
