This is your captain speaking…in lost property
AMSTERDAM – KLM pilots stood down during the economic crisis are being asked to voluntarily take other jobs within the airline.
So far more than 100 pilots have volunteered to do jobs such as helping with lost property, making up load sheets or assisting in KLM airport lounges.
All are still on full pay while they wait to return to work as pilots.
The initiative has the backing of the pilots’ union.
