Thomas Cook extends window card initiative to independent agents
Thomas Cook has launched a dedicated section on its website which allows independent agents to print out ready-made window cards for latest offers.
Agents can use its ‘Offers & Window Cards’ section to view the latest deals, displayed in order of price with the cheapest first.
Once they have selected a deal, agents can print out a
ready-made window card, with a choice of options including an image of the property and pricing by family, per adult or per couple.
The deals are linked directly to the operator’s Viewdata system so prices are live and up to date. They can also be searched by departure airport.
Window cards can be printed for Thomas Cook, JMC, Sunset, Club 18-30 and Neilson holidays.
Marc Bennett, director of trade relations at Thomas Cook, said: “When our in-house system for printable window cards for Thomas Cook stores was introduced the response from agents was phenomenal.
“They told us what an improvement the cards made in managing window displays, and so our top priority was to offer a similar service for our external travel agent partners.
“We will be providing a training guide on thomascookworld.com for third party agents to ensure they can exploit the new developments to the maximum, although we have worked hard to make the system as easy to use as possible.”
