Thomas Cook insider buys ABC Global Services
Thomas Cook has sold ABC Global Service to former Cook senior vice president Eric Altschul.
Altschul has more than 20 years of travel on both the leisure and corporate travel sides. He managed Thomas Cook North America’s leisure distribution business, and worked at American Express Supplier Relations Group and as Vice President of its US Consulting Services business. He was twice named a rising industry star by Travel Agent magazine.
Founded in 1978, ABC offers a global hotel program and a hotel booking engine, ezBook by ABC.
Its customer base of 7,000 travel agency locations in 76 countries generates more than six million annual room nights and $1 billion in revenue.
